Drugs and bpd
Some individuals may use drugs to help them deal with the symptoms of bpd. Drugs can be very addictive and will make the symptoms of bpd worse.
Downers such as spliff and heroin, and even prescribed drugs used irresponsibly such as Valium can make the user feel more depressed.
Uppers such as amphetamine,coke, e,crack cocaine can make the user feel too energetic,see things and hear things which are not there and trigger paranoia.
All drugs are dangerous,and mixed with medication can form a lethal cocktail.
If you or someone you care for has a drug problem you should see your doctor immediately so they can arrange an appointment with substance misuse.
